We are proud to share nine financial advisers in the Insignia Financial Group advice network have been recognised in the Barron’s Australia Top 100 Financial Advisers 2022 list, published Friday 23 September 2022.

Congratulations to our Shadforth Financial Group advisers – Andrew Harrison, Andrew Pidgeon, Belinda von Knoll, Campbell Sorrell, David Raits, Phillip Gillard, Sally Huynh, Simon Growden and Philip Davison – all of who ranked. Some appear for the fifth year running – Phil Gillard and Sally Huynh have appeared since 2018 – whilst others are making an appearance for the first time. Additionally, two of the 14 females in the rankings were Shadforth advisers, namely Sally Huynh (Brisbane) and Belinda von Knoll (Perth).

Information about the list and how rankings are calculated

The Top 100 Financial Advisers list is a collaboration between The Australian and its corporate cousin, Barron’s, a 101-year-old American magazine for investors. The list has been running since 2004 and recognises the nation’s best financial advisers and practices. The ranking is both a guide to consumers looking for an adviser and a scorecard that advisers can use to measure themselves against one another.

The listing is based on a survey of 55 questions and the formula used to calculate the ranking is rooted in three general categories: client assets managed by the adviser, fees and revenue generated by their business, and the quality of the adviser’s business.
